Jeollanam-do Heart Health Healing Center

The Jeollanam-do Mental Health Healing Center is a specialized mental health treatment facility located on the second floor of Wonkwang University’s Jangheung Integrated Medical Hospital. Established to support those experiencing emotional difficulties—such as depression, anxiety, and stress—in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the center offers a variety of experiential healing programs, including integrative medicine treatments, forest therapy, and aromatherapy, all centered on traditional Korean medicine-based integrative care. The wellness programs at the Jeollanam-do Mental Health Healing Center are offered as day programs, one-night/two-day programs, and two-night/three-day programs. All programs consist of integrative medicine treatments, healing programs, and traditional Korean medicine education (making Gyeongokhwan), while the 1-night/2-day and 2-night/3-day programs include an additional forest therapy session held at the Jeongnamjin Hinoki Forest Woodland. Participation is limited to a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 24 people, and applications are accepted for up to three groups per day. Programs are not held on weekends or public holidays.
