골드스파사우나Gold Spa Sauna is an authentic traditional Korean sauna (bulhanjeongmak) spanning 1,000 pyeong, located in Geumchon-dong, Paju, Gyeonggi Province. As one of Paju’s leading bathing and sauna facilities, it has been in operation since 2004 and is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It operates a traditional fire-heated steam room fueled exclusively by 100% domestically sourced pine firewood, licensed by the Korea Forest Service, and is characterized by heat generated by an actual wood fire rather than an oil boiler. It is equipped with a water management system that combines a special dual-filtration system—the first of its kind in the country—with natural bedrock water, and is designed and maintained directly by a company specializing in sauna construction. Water quality test results are posted in the lobby at all times, and the facility has passed safety inspections by the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation, verifying both water quality and facility safety. Inside, the facility features a variety of themed jjimjilbang rooms—including the traditional wood-fired sauna, a yellow clay room, a salt room, and an ice room—as well as separate men’s and women’s saunas, a communal jjimjilbang hall, and a rest area. It also offers amenities such as a restaurant, cafeteria, and snack bar. A kids’ zone equipped with a trampoline and slide makes it ideal for families with children, and everyone—regardless of age or gender—can relax comfortably in their own way, whether on a date with a partner, a family outing, or a solo retreat. Free above-ground and underground parking is available, making it convenient for those arriving by car.ⓒ한국관광공사

제일유황온천Ildong Jeil Hot Springs is located at the entrance to the Ildong Hot Springs District in Pocheon County. It opened in 1996 to provide a comfortable hot spring facility using sulfur-rich hot spring water drawn from a depth of 800 meters underground. The water is primarily composed of sulfur and is known to be effective for rheumatism, lifestyle-related diseases, diabetes, high blood pressure, neuralgia, gynecological disorders, arthritis, and various skin conditions. With 400 pyeong for the men’s section and 400 pyeong for the women’s section—each capable of accommodating up to 130 people—the facility features an open-air bath, a steam room, a hot spring swimming pool, a waterfall bath, and a sauna. It also features a spacious parking lot, a motel, and ancillary facilities such as hot spring baths and restaurants; the motel’s approximately 50 guest rooms are supplied with hot spring water. In particular, the Ildong and Idong areas are famous for their Idong galbi (grilled short ribs), and thanks to the stunning surrounding mountain scenery—including Baegunsan, Gwangdeoksan, Cheonggyesan, and Unaksan—the area has become extremely popular, attracting not only hikers but also visitors to nearby golf courses.ⓒ한국관광공사

스파라스파 (곤지암리조트)Spa Spa (Family Spa) is a swimming pool facility located within the Gonjiam Resort in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province. It does not offer spa or massage services; instead, it operates only the swimming pool facilities, which are available to both resort guests and non-residents. From Clock Tower Plaza, take the elevator directly across from Jeju’s down to the second basement level. There is one indoor pool and four outdoor pools; since each pool has a different temperature, you can choose the one that best suits your needs. Children under 130 cm must wear a life jacket, and swim caps are required before entering the water. While outside food is generally not allowed, there is an indoor food court inside the pool area, and sunbeds are available for free.ⓒ한국관광공사

- 율암온천숯가마 테마파크It has long been known that natural spring water has flowed year-round from a small pond behind Yulam Hot Springs; since it never freezes even in the depths of winter, the area has traditionally served as a laundry site for nearby residents. It is also said to have been a place where people bathed and sought treatment, as the water was believed to be effective against eye diseases, skin conditions, and arthritis. In particular, due to the region’s geological characteristics—where extensive hot spring aquifers, combined with loess and granite strata capable of storing large volumes of hot spring water—Yulam Hot Spring water is natural hot spring water that emerges from bedrock 700 meters underground. The park features a variety of facilities, including a spacious and refreshing pyramid-shaped large hot bath, an open-air bath, and a yellow clay sauna made by applying yellow clay; it is also characterized by jade stone finishes for the health clinic and a large lobby area. Yulam Hot Springs Charcoal Kiln Theme Park, where hot spring facilities blend harmoniously with nature, is conveniently located less than an hour from the Seoul metropolitan area.
