Busan Healing ForestThe Busan Healing Forest, the first of its kind in the Yeongnam region, is operated by the Busan Metropolitan City Green City Development Office and was established in November 2017 within the Busan National University Academic Forest. Spanning 153 hectares and featuring broad, gentle slopes at an elevation of around 240 meters above sea level, it is ideal for leisurely walks. In this forest, where pine and oak trees intermingle, the sound of the wind rustling through the leaves, the murmur of a stream, and the songs of mountain birds accompany you with every step. The area encompasses a diverse range of terrain—including flatlands, hills, valleys, and rocky mountains—and visitors can choose from several trails based on their fitness level: the “Healing Road” through Ahpusan Forest, the “Pine Breeze Trail” offering views of the Hoedong Reservoir, and the “Big Rock Trail,” where one can feel the vitality of the dense forest. Dirt paths, mat-covered trails, and boardwalks add to the enjoyment of the walk.
