쌀겨효소찜질테라피
Rice Bran Enzyme Steam Therapy is a unique wellness facility that utilizes the natural heat generated when microorganisms ferment rice bran. Instead of using artificial heaters, this facility warms the body using pure fermentation heat—approximately 60–70°C—generated by the metabolic activity of microorganisms. Participants bury their entire body—except for their face—in fine rice bran for the treatment; the heat generated during this process penetrates deep into the body, helping to promote blood circulation and boost metabolism. Unlike a typical sauna, this fermented heat treatment is effective in improving basic physical fitness, strengthening the immune system, and relieving chronic fatigue and muscle pain. Additionally, after the treatment, visitors can use the remaining rice bran powder as a natural scrub to smooth and refine their skin texture, providing cosmetic benefits as well. To ensure systematic management of the fermentation process, all programs operate on a 100% advance reservation basis.

석예원 본초 족욕 성산점
This is a place where you can experience a self-guided foot bath therapy that uses natural ingredients derived from nature to relieve travel fatigue. The self-guided foot bath, which utilizes natural beauty salts, peppermint oil, and herbal foot bath water based on traditional Korean medicine, is the perfect way to give your tired body and mind a moment of rest. Natural medicines used for the health, treatment, and prevention of living beings are called “herbal remedies.” The herbal foot bath solution used in this therapy is made from carefully selected herbal ingredients used in traditional Korean medicine. Since ancient times, traditional Korean medicine has advocated the principle of “cool head, warm feet”—that is, “keep your head cool and your feet warm.” The feet, well known as a microcosm of the five viscera and six bowels, are so important that they are often described as representing the entire human body. Foot baths help relax tense muscles, remove waste products from the body, and promote smooth blood circulation. As the facility operates by appointment only, it is recommended to make a reservation online in advance before visiting. Nearby tourist attractions include Seopjikoji and Gwangchigi Beach.

It is the only hot spring in Korea where the hot spring water is managed centrally by the city of Chungju, and thanks to its focus on preserving the hot spring resources, it is recognized as high-quality water containing various minerals beneficial to human health. National Jangseong Healing Forest
Mount Chukryeong, home to the largest concentration of hinoki cypress forests in Korea, stretches across the border between Jangseong County in the Gwangju-Jeonnam Metropolitan City and Gochang County in North Jeolla Province. Mr. Im Jong-guk, a private forest owner, played a major role in establishing the hinoki cypress forests on Mount Chukryeong. Mr. Im Jong-guk reforested the Chukryeong Mountain area—which had been stripped bare by indiscriminate logging during the Japanese colonial period and damage from the Korean War—by planting 62 hectares of cypress, 143 ha of hinoki cypress, and 55 ha of other tree species—including larch—in the Mount Chukryeong area, which had been stripped bare by indiscriminate logging during the Japanese colonial period and damage from the Korean War. The total number of trees planted amounts to approximately 2.5 million. This was accomplished over a period of 34 years, beginning in 1956. The result is a vast evergreen forest spanning 1,148 ha, densely populated with hinoki cypress and cedar trees aged 40 to 60 years. Currently, the Korea Forest Service has purchased 388 ha of the forest and is conducting ongoing forest management. Within the hinoki cypress forest, 10 km of forest roads have been constructed for forest management purposes, and a “Healing Forest” specializing in hinoki cypress has been established, serving as a recreational space for visitors to enjoy forest bathing, forest experiences, and forest therapy. The Jangseong National Healing Forest (Jangseong Hinoki Cypress Healing Forest) was selected as a “Beautiful Millennium Forest” at the 1st National Beautiful Forest Competition in 2000.
